The basics are a rectangle and shaped band. Put the two together and your done. It really is that simple.
Add straps and you have a flirty little knee length dress. Here's another idea! Get a rectangular scarf the right width and length to tie around your your hips or bust sarong style to make the 'scarf skirt or dress' version.
We did our skirt with a ruffled scarf that is short and sassy.
