Toggle Mask Adjusters

These little silicone numbers are great! They allow you to adjust the length of elastic on your facemasks easily and conveniently to ensure a good fit for everyone. They come in black or white and are approx 10mm wide with 2 holes (2mm/4mm on either end the elastic feeds thru. ). They fit best on elastic from 1/8" to 1/4", flat or round. You will need 2 per mask and they cost 10 cents each.
HOW TO PUT ON YOUR ELASTIC TOGGLES:
You can use a small crochet hook, a modified paperclip, or this needle and thread method.
You are just trying to pull the elastic through the toggle, large hole first. The small hole should be at the end of your elastic as this is what stops the toggle while adjusting it)
STEP 1
Pass a threaded needle through the small hole end of the toggle, exiting through the large hole.
STEP 2
Pass the needle and thread around the elastic cord (so the thread wraps around it)
STEP 3
Pass the needle back through the large hole then exit through the small hole of the toggle.
STEP 4
Pull the thread that is now looped around the elastic through the toggle. This will pull the elastic through with it and you’re done – you now have adjusters on your elastic!
